Designed to support stability, community connection, and everyday life. The fact that we're being recognised for our success by a body outside of our sector speaks volumes, and we're delighted! Visible citizenship in practice. That’s the mahi.
Located in Pukekohe, Rongo Te Ata is a supportive housing development delivered in partnership with Ashton Mitchell Ltd, providing secure, long-term homes for people recovering from addiction and mental distress. Shaped through a collaborative design process with community and iwi, the project centres on wellbeing, dignity, and a strong sense of belonging.
Fourteen apartments are arranged within a generous landscaped setting, balancing privacy with shared spaces that encourage connection. Guided by the concept of pokohiwi ki pokohiwi, standing shoulder to shoulder, the architecture reflects a supportive environment grounded in care, community, and place.
